What personal data the app processes

Fodringar processes the following personal data, all of which is entered by you and stored exclusively on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account:

  • Shooter profiles - name, IPSC member number, and club number
  • Scoring data - drill results, shot times, hit factors, and qualification progress
  • Generated certificates - PDF documents containing shooter name, medal level, and qualifying session details

No personal data is transmitted to us or to any third-party server. We have no access to your data.

The app processes personal data based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You provide consent by voluntarily entering data into the app. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data from the app.

iCloud sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your app data syncs across your devices via Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure. This data is stored in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to this container.

Apple acts as a data processor for iCloud storage. Apple may transfer data to servers outside the EU/EEA under their own data processing terms and standard contractual clauses. For details, refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Bluetooth

The app connects to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) shot timer devices to receive drill timing data (start signals, shot timestamps, and split times). No personal data is transmitted over the Bluetooth connection. The connection is used solely to receive timing signals from the device.

Third-party services

Fodringar contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising frameworks, or third-party tracking code. The app makes no network requests other than iCloud sync handled by the operating system.

Accounts and authentication

Fodringar does not require or support user accounts. There is no login, registration, or authentication.

Data retention

All data is stored on your device for as long as the app is installed. There is no server-side retention because no data is sent to any server. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data. iCloud data can be removed separately through your device’s iCloud storage settings.

Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject in the EU, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15) - You can view all your data directly within the app at any time.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) - You can edit any data directly within the app.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) - You can delete individual records or all data from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) - You can export your data at any time using the app’s file sharing feature.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) - You can stop using the app and delete your data at any time.
  • Right to lodge a complaint - You have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se or with your local supervisory authority.

Because all data is stored locally on your device and fully accessible to you, these rights are exercised directly through the app without needing to contact us.

Children

The app does not target children and does not knowingly process data of children under 16. Since no data leaves the device, we cannot identify or verify the age of any user.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. The updated policy will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
